Early Distillation × Port Cask Intensity

In this release, Bimber selected 14 single casks for its Country Collection, including Ex‑Bourbon, Ex‑Port, Ex‑Rye, Madeira and PX finished casks.

The Hong Kong Edition was selected by Maltcask from multiple samples, choosing Ex‑Port Cask #47 as its representative cask.

Other markets selecting Ex‑Port casks include Tudor House (Poland) and La Maison du Whisky (France), highlighting the strong reputation of this cask style within the series.

▍Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich raisins, honey and cinnamon syrup with a cognac‑like depth. Creamy notes, camphor wood and barbecue sauce nuances emerge, with a subtle savoury meatiness. With water, milk chocolate and a pronounced winey character develop.

Palate: Cinnamon syrup and warming spices lead, supported by firm tannins. Black pepper and hazelnut notes intertwine. With water, the texture becomes more chewy and savoury.

Finish: Long and warming, with spices and dried fruits lingering alongside port‑cask richness.
